Cathedral of the Christ the Savior and the Patriarshy Bridge, Moscow
Main cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church. Built in the 19th century in honor of the victory of the Russian Army in the Patriotic War 1812. Demolished in 1931, reconstructed in accordance with the original drawings in 1997.
Inside this church was where the famous "Pussy Riot" girls staged a performance on February 21, 2012 in protest of Orthodox Church leader's support for Putin during his election campaign.
